Gee, Alex, it's 3 in the morning and you have a 9:30 class tomorrow, why are you still awake?
Well, fictional voice in my head, it's because someone couldn't pull themselves away from WoW to exercise enough common sense to not let me sleep all day.
But why didn't you set your alarm?
Because said person went to sleep late and I wanted to let them sleep because they're always complaining about how tired they are. And since I had "napped" for 6 hours the night before I wasn't tired when they went to bed. I did decide to take a nap around 9 in the morning hoping they'd have enough sense to wake me up at a reasonable hour. But, unfortunately for me, things like noticing the sleeping habits of your spouse and remembering that he has class the next day are two things which eluded the aforementioned person and I slept until past 4 in the afternoon. And now I am not tired and cannot fall asleep and have class in the morning and another in the afternoon.
Wow, Alex it certainly does seem to suck to be you. What are you going to do?
Ah, fictional voice in my head, you are the master of stating the obvious. It truly does suck to be me currently. I don't know what I'm going to do, to be honest. I can drive to school exhausted sit through a 3 hour lecture, then wait around the 3.5 hours between classes for my other 3 hour class before finally driving home extremely exhausted (probably to find said person playing WoW), or I can say fuck it and miss class but get some sleep. Only time will tell.
And what is really the most irritating part of it all is this: said person could never find the time to take 1 Sunday afternoon a week to go and do stuff with me while working on their BA (but could find time to play WoW) and now while working on their Master's degree they have even less time to take 1 Sunday afternoon a week to go and do stuff with me but still has more than enough to dedicate to playing WoW (and being 2nd in charge of a guild at that).
Well, I guess the problem wasn't that they didn't have the time, they just didn't have the inclination to spend it with you.
*sigh* Thank you once more, fictional voice in my head, for summing up my marriage of almost 12 years in a nutshell. Now, if you don't mind I think that I'm going to go kill some virtual opponents to release some stress.
