So today we had a session with one of our regular band clients. These guys are a good band, really funny songs, and getting close to finished tracking their album.
Just one problem. For a good couple of hours today, they were tracking bass parts. This is not the part that's the problem. The whole time they were tracking bass, the drummer was sitting in...

Back from my working trip to Colorado... it was crazy, worked two full 40-hour weeks, plus spending time on web site updates every night after the show. Was getting like 3 hours of sleep a night, less some nights. Yep, I was totally exhausted by the end of it.

Rested up for a day, packed for a day, loaded the car (it was SO packed......

I took a bunch more pictures at the Garden Show today. I went through all the settings in our digital camera, and first got all excited because it seemed to have a setting that would allow me to choose the ISO and f-stop, even though shutter speeds are still automatic. But, the ISO selections only go up to 400, and the f-stop only gives you...

Today I worked the show by myself, which wasn't a problem, since it was pretty slow. I sold our jumbo toad though, which was cool.
Before the show opened, I took pictures of a couple of the gardens. There are a lot more of them, and I haven't walked through the show very much this time. I should get a chance to do some more...

It's been a VERY long couple of days!
Mostly cool, but wow am I tired. I should be napping, but... when we got back from dinner tonight, I got on the computer and started answering email and so forth, and I'm not passing out as soon as I'm stationary anymore, so I'll probably stay up now. I'm off tomorrow, so I'll get to do some...

err Peshwari Naan I think.

Perhaps you should take their digital photo and post the offenders pics up in the Hall ??

I suppose you'd write off something for shoplifting so there's always an element of loss but I recognise the frustration from your perspective. Some bankruptcy arrangements here mean the creditor gets zilch while the offending debtor never actually pays. surreal

I'm such a dork... I'm all happy that U2 won the Grammys for Song of the Year and Album of the Year!
And at the same time sad that their winning Album of the Year meant that Paul McCartney couldn't win. And also a little disgusted that Green Day won Record of the Year. Not exactly in the same league.

So... I'll be getting my...

Could have been worse. It could have gone to Conye West or whatever his name is. He should have gotten an honorary anti-Bush Grammy, though. I'll present it for him.

Yaaaay! I finally got to the Venice Beach drum circle! It wasn't as large as some other times, Gremlin said, and it got shut down at 7:30 pm, although it seemed later than that. Probably just cause of the great mild weather in Feb. thing, and it being warm but dark so early. We got there about 4, so we got in several good hours...

OPEN MIC NIGHT - PORTFOLIO'S

Yay, we finally got back to Portfolio's, the coffee shop we liked a lot the first time we played their open mic. Tonight we played a song backing up an artist whose album we're producing/engineering. She's a really cool singer, writes pretty heavy songs, and has a powerful voice to carry it off. We did it acoustic, of course, but...
