I took a bunch more pictures at the Garden Show today. I went through all the settings in our digital camera, and first got all excited because it seemed to have a setting that would allow me to choose the ISO and f-stop, even though shutter speeds are still automatic. But, the ISO selections only go up to 400, and the f-stop only gives you a choice of two, which two depending on how the camera sees the lighting conditions to begin with. So I thought I was going to be able to practice some of my new camera skills, but it turns out it isn't really very manually-controllable after all. So I just did the pictures on the usual auto settings, which sometimes come out ok and sometimes don't, and I fix up the brightness and color in Photoshop as best I can.
I edited a bunch of them tonight, but it's already after midnight and I have to be up at 7 for court in the morning. Driving to Boulder in rush hour, in the snow, oh YAY! I SO want this court thing over with, and wish I didn't have to do it at all. At any rate, I'm going to try and get myself to sleep, since the time I've been going to sleep the last couple of nights, is when I have to get UP tomorrow, and I cannot drive that tired. So I will post more pictures tomorrow or soon, but meanwhile I couldn't resist posting just this one:
I always thought it was "the birds and the bees," but I guess it's really about "the flowers and the bees!"
