What a great weekend... first, and by far worst, conflict with a friend, then hours of cleaning, now today I wake up with a cramp, thinking, "but it's WAY too soon for my period!" but sure enough, it's my period.
Ok, I know it's not technically part of the weekend anymore, but the weeks I get a three-day weekend, that's exactly how I consider it, so to me it is.
At least I woke up right at the beginning of it, meaning I had time to get my Ibuprofen, and the cramps shouldn't get bad.
I may have to go back and check dates. Either I'm having this period pretty early (I'm not perfectly regular though), or the last month has gone by AWFULLY fast. Which is also possible. Regardless, it's uncomfortable and no matter when I get it, I dislike having it.
My mom just left me a note, can I send out a mid-month email to our store customers re-advertising our current sale, cause business sucks. That won't take very long, but I also have to get out and find a birthday present for my sister (crystaldawn, if you're reading this, I'm still interested in buying candles from you!), and mail something at the post office. Then we're going out for her birthday dinner tonight. Which I'm not in the mood for at all. Were it just a random going-out-to-dinner night, I would bow out, but that's not really an option for a birthday night.
So all of this means that I don't really get to spend the day on the web site work I want to be doing. I'll get to spend some time on it, and I did get some work done on it yesterday too. I guess I should have gotten up earlier, but usually on my weekends I try to catch up on as much sleep as I can, because I'm always running myself short during the week. I already know that next Saturday I have to get up not too early, but earlier than I would on my own, to take my mom to the airport for a vacation, too.
Ah well, best I can do is drag myself out to my errands and then get back and do what work I can before we have to go to dinner.
