Oh yes. The "other" small victory of the day:
I did one whole chin-up today... the real kind, no "weight assistance," the all-by-myself, actually pulled myself up the whole way kind.
Yeah, sad thing to have to celebrate, but better to be able to do it, than 6 weeks ago when I got my gym membership and couldn't even do that much. So, I may be pretty weak, but I'm getting distinctly stronger.
Now, maybe it won't be 6 more weeks before I can manage two of them...!
At any rate, whatever the level started from, seeing a specific accomplishment like that is good for telling me the working out is doing what I want it to, and making me want to keep doing it.
