@rambo, @catgrey, @fenix, @bassboy73, @darkfader113 & @bonniedarko; thanks for taking the time to read & comment on my post, yeah it was scary, but I also found out that a lot of people who claim to love me really didn’t give a damn about weather I was safe or not (Bad people, bad, bad people, I’m deleting you all from my FB account!!! Yes they were immediate family members) I was sort of safe, I was in the parking lot by the old Barbers Point Naval Air Station flight Tower which the Coast Guard still uses. There’s also private flight schools there, so it’s open to the public. I like to hang out there & read on my table as the breezes are better than I get at my place, I guess I fell asleep. Ah well, that’s the way it goes sometimes. @darkfader113, I don’t know about tough so much as used to dealing with emergencies from when I was in the Merchant Marine, I saw some much hairier situations much more closely (engine room fire, laundry room fire, getting washed down the port side of a ship by a rouge wave) this just didn’t feel like that first of all there were no planes taking off from Hickam & no ships heading out of Pearl Harbor both of which can be seen from my location plus the Coasties only sent up one plane, so I guess that’s how I managed to stay calm. No nightmares yet either, so I figured I’m ok.
