So the Nashville Pussy show... they were great! I have to say, the two opening bands were some of the worst that I've heard in a very long time. Bad enough that people were throwing beer cups (full) at them.
Again, NP was great! In spite of some idiot jumping on stage and stealing Ruyter's cowboy hat. That brought things to a screeching halt in a hurry. Sadly, they didn't seem to find it amongst the crowd. So, the rest of the night they seemed to play as only a group of pissed off people can.
They came out did a couple of songs as an oncor (sic) and that was the night.
Today, after waking with a bit of a hangover, my wife and I went out for a 20+ mile mountain bike ride. Not really long enough for either of us, but it was threatening rain and we were both getting hungry.
Tonight, we went and celebrated a birthday for our crazy Scottish friend. It was also supposed to be a going away dinner for other friends who are moving back to the states. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it for their own dinner. Oh well. It's still fantastic German beer and Schnitzel!
