Thank you all for the good wishes toward my daughter, Heather, on her success. I told her all about it. She sends her appreciation to all those who acknowledged her.
Looking back at my day yesterday, I realize how special it was. After taking care of some morning business, I had lunch with the amazing Louisiana. This was the second time we met in person. We found so much to talk about. She's one of the most intelligent and easy to talk to people I've ever met. When we finally parted, we were amazed that three and a half hours had gone by. It seemed like we had spent much less time than that together.
Shortly after, I got a call from Lizabeth. I've known her for a fairly long time, and we've become close friends. We speak fairly regularly, which I'm very happy about. We had to cut things short, but resumed our conversation later in the day. Another instance when time just flew by. My only regret about her is that she lives so far away. I'm looking forward to a time when we can meet face to face. I have no doubt that it will happen.
Not long after, i spoke with Kathy. There's never a shortage of things for us to talk about. There's very little we haven't talked about or told each other about ourselves. Our plans for being together are very much on track. My feelings for her become stronger with each passing day. As usual, the time that we spend together just flies by. Most of the time, we have to force ourselves to say goodnight and get off the phone. I continue to be convinced that she's perfect for me regarding the lifestyle I want to pursue.
What's the common denominater that links these thee people? I met all three of them on the internet, the first two on SG and Kathy on FetLife. If someone told me this was possible less than two years ago, I'd have thought they were crazy. I've learned the power of the internet for making a difference in people's lives. It's certainly done that for me. It's not only the three examples I've given, it's also the impact that the rest of my friends here have had on me. It's a great feeling.

Yes, it's a picture I feel I've been aware of all my life. You have a special heritage there, and I'm sure it's one you've shared with your descendants, so that your mother's memory (and the memory of what happened to your family) will endure.

Ugh, I've been so fucking busy with school and work lately that I've been faking some sicknesses for each just to get a day off. Not been a fun few weeks.... How've you been?
