Another step toward pursuing my desires.

I used to go to meetings of an organization named The Eulenspiegel Society. It's the oldest society in North America that supports the BDSM lifestyle. They meet on Wednesday nights for a discussion on a particular topic of interest. After a break, there's an open roundtable discussion about anything anyone might bring up.

Twice a month on Saturday night,people meet up at a restaurant, have dinner or dessert and head over to Paddles, a local fetish club. Whatever happens then is up to the individual. I've been to Paddles in the past with someone and had a good time. I'm wondering how it might feel to go there unattached. If a month has five Fridays, which I think October does, they have a get-together on the fifth Friday too.

I went to the meeting last Wednesday. A few people remembered me from when I used to attend over a year ago. It was obvious to me in the past that these were ordinaryt people who had a particular thing in common and that was that. They're just like the rest of us in every other way.

I'm going to tomorrow night's meeting and look forward to the lecture and the discussion afterwards. I won't be able to attend the outings until the very end of October, but plan to go at least one Saturday a month once I begin to receive my Social Security at the end of the coming month. I might wind up going that fifth Friday. They also have other social events throughout the year.

As soon as I have the money, i'm going to become a member. This will entitle me to discounts on most of the events. i'm looking forward to becoming a stready presence at the meetings and events. Maybe i'll make some friends and,even meet a woman that I may be compatible with. I'll never know unless I try.
