So, this Friday is my 62nd birthday. I'll be the only SG member to be eligible for Social Security in two days. I'm grateful to all the people who made me feel that I belonged. I'm also very proud of myself for being able to fit in with all the young people here.
I'll be spending my actual birthday looking at an apartment that I might have to move into very soon. I've been trying to stay where I am as long as I can. Unfortunately, i'm finally going to have to vacate the premises.
While i'll surely speak with both my daughters, my son in law and the grandkids on Friday, I'm otherwise going to be alone that day. That's okay though. Heather is going away again tomorrow morning, this time to Fire Island, where she and a couple of friends are renting a house for the summer. We're having dinner together later today.
Someone I recently met and became friendly with wants to take me out to dinner on Saturday for my birthday. We're going into Manhattan, walk around, talk, eat and see a movie. This is really good for me, since I get especially sad when i'm alone on Saturday nights.
Every year, I go to at least one Yankees - White Sox game when the Sox come to New York. I didn't expect to make it there this year because of finances. Heather told me the other day that she got tickets for the two of us for the Yanks - Sox game on August 28th. This is part of my birthday present from her. I'm excited and can't wait to go.
A lot has changed for me since a year ago. One very important thing that's stayed the same is the great friends I have here. While a few have departed, they've been replaced by wonderful new friends.
You've all made a huge difference in my life since I joined SG. I couldn't have made it this far without all of you. I appreciate all the love i've been allowed to give and that i've received from so many wonderful people. I love all of you.

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend- Manhattan, that has to be a good time no matter what you were doing.
My wish for you goes far beyond just one day - it is for now and always: that you find the peace, companionship, love and passion that you so richly deserve.
*BIG HUG* to you.
Happy 62nd birthday. I hope that you and your family have celebrated well. With laughs and cheers. How are you grand kids?
I have had some feed back for shooting a set, but I haven't decided whom I will shoot with. In due course.
Sean and I are wonderful, and I haven't asked him yet. I'm thinking I will or I won't. It really all depends if I get a proper job. Because when and if I do ask, I want to have a proper ring to do so.
You also must keep in mind that when we do get married it will be in NYC. So saving money to come to England won't be needed at all. I am well however I've developed some allergies since I've moved, other than that I'm doing just fine. I hope that you are well. Talk to you soon lovely.
<3 I miss you
