The U.S. Census bureau is starting to hire people as census takers. I signed up to take the written test next Saturday morning. I figure that I'll probably do very well on the test. The only problem is that they list owning a vehicle as an important aspect of the job. They mention that it's possible to be hired without a car and being allowed to use public transportation.
I don't have a car. I figure that with public transportation being so abundant here in New York City, it may not be as important to actually be able to travel by car than in most other locations. I'm hopig that, assuming I do well on the test, my not having a car won't be a deal breaker for being hired.
I'm still taking my medication and attending counseling. I should be done with the five day a week program in a week or two. I'll then be assigned to a therapist who I'll be seeing on a weekly basis. While I find myself feeling depressed from time to time, my overall outlook is much better.

....I have been considering talking to a doctor about medications for depression but I'm the daughter of a hypnotherapist so I've never taken hardcore meds before. I'm kinda scared. I've never even smoked a cigarette in my life.
