I thought I would post an update on last week's blog. Not there's all that much new to say, but I wanted to get that very depressing post from last week off the screen. So here's the latest.

I've done some thinking and am trying to formulate a plan of action. First of all, Im trying to network with certain people about helping me find a part time job that pays a decent hourly rate and can possibly provide benefits. There are already a couple of good possibilities. The only problem is that things probably won't come through until around Thanksgiving.

I'm definitely going to have to find a new place to live pretty soon. I'm starting that search as well. I would really liike to find something cheaper than where I am now in the same neighborhood as I'm living in. I've been living in this area for about the last 30 years. The prospect of moving to a different part of town is pretty depressing.

Cutting everyday expenses is also something I'm working on. There are a few things I have in mind. My loved ones continue to worry about me, which gives me mixed feelings. On one hand, I'm grateful that they're there for me. On the other hand, I'm sad that there's a reason for their concern.

I've come across quite a few friends on and off SG who are having financial problems. I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that times are really bad out there for lots of people. I sincerely hope that those of you that are suffering financially are able to overcome their problems very soon.
