Shit. It's a been a while. Moving flat, the wait for my broadband to be hooked up and general busyness have kept me away long enough.
I am still fucked from doing the 48 Hour Film Festival project in the weekend. Was basically awake from 11am last Friday until 330am on Sunday, with a few hours' nap in the middle of it. We ended up with a 7-minute script about a superhero named "Cheesy Man". Turned out very well, I think. They're screening a set of the films, including ours, at the Civic next Monday - since I wrote myself in as a cameo, it means it will be the first time I've ever seen my writing and my face on the big silver screen.
So I'm tired. But I have tickets to see Revenge of the Sith at midnight tonight... the geek in me must persevere. I'm not dressing up this time though.
The penultimate draft of my play, Morrigan's Morsel is almost ready... it just needs the new ending. Rehearsals are a joy to watch - my director seems onto it, and I'm very excited. Plus short film classes have begun again as well. School's kicking into high gear now.
It's raining too.
I'm listening to the first soundtrack for the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist. Surprisingly soothing for incidental music.
Has everyone heard about this? Considering it is the most influential and beloved film of my life, I'm being surprisingly open-minded about it. If they have the original people on board to help, then it could be a good thing - if not...
I hope you're all well.
