Well, this is pleasant... a request for me to write a script. From some of the other students, but not for the proposal assignment - something independent. And I may even get paid for it. :o
I'm meeting with them tomorrow to talk about it, but right now I'm incredibly intrigued. They said what they had in mind may suit my particular talents. What do they want me to write about? Another samurai story? Or another fairy-tale adaptation maybe? Whatever it is, it makes me feel good to know that my talent is appreciated
(and yeah, that moneys may be involved 
)
It made me even happier to find out I'm able to take leave for a weekend so I can do the 48 Hour Film Festival project with our group next month! Yay! It's going to be awesome.
