I have had it with this stupid, stupid flat.
The place is full of the landlord's mess (this is the last fucking time I get myself into this kind of situation) and they don't know how to talk to each other quietly - hell, they were supposed to move out 3 months ago and they're still here - the 'front door' only locks from the outside, the kitchen's a DIY wreck, there's no stove, the walls are extremely thin, there's barely any sunlight, and some construction outside is blocking my window.
The last straw was the keypad lock on the completely unnecessary gate jamming up - with me in the rain.
Estimated time of exit is a month-ish (need time to gather costs of moving). This will be the 6th time I'll have to move in a 3 year period, and I'm tired of it.
*DEEP BREATH*
Okay.
Typing all that out was almost as helpful as shouting it. Well, I suppose being able to look at the beautiful girls was therapeutic too.
But anyway...
My dream flat:
- spacious
- all doors, cupboards, bathroom, deck, etc. and relevant bits and bobs clean and working fine with no complications
- with people around my own age who are intelligent, quiet and actually have something to do with their lives
- Close to a route that gets me where I need to go (of course)
- considering I actually now have the potential for a significant other, a reasonably private and soundworthy bedroom would be good too (which reminds me, gotta upgrade from that single bed...)
That potential returns from overseas on Sunday.

I'm not fond of the phrase 'good things come to those who wait', but...
