Great to see all the love on @nancylynn's debut set Soft Flannel! Also fitting that it went live on the 75th anniversary of D-Day as she is also a Marine veteran (pretty badass, right?).
One of the most gratifying parts of shooting for SG over the years has been helping Hopefuls who may never have modeled before see just how hot they really are, both through the pictures themselves and especially from the feedback from the SG community. @penny first spotted @nancylynn's potential, recruiting her and inviting her to her Chicago Shootfest last fall. After the first day of the fest, I joined Penny, @merryboudoir and several SGs and Hopefuls at the Chicago Diner (try their vegan shakes if you ever go). Nancylynn was a few seats down and I thought I heard her make a comment about being more confident about her body than her face. My first reaction was, Wait what?! Then, either that her body was insane, or she didn't realize what she has.
The next day Penny and I finished up shooing a set (Are You Afraid of the Dark comes out in 2 weeks!) and Nancylynn walked past. I asked her if she wanted to shoot a quick set. She seemed a little startled but said sure! We decided to forgo any overtly sexy lingerie and chose instead a simple flannel shirt. After taking a few shots I'd show her the back of the camera pics and her confidence seemed to grow with every pic. She relaxed into it and the set got better and better. Afterwards she was super excited about it and I felt sure we had something SG would flip over. Now that the set has gone live it's great to see that affirmed and then some. The good news is she shots two more sets with Penny so we'll be seeing more her hotness around here!
