Been on vacation for the last 3 days in LA. Usually it's always a fun time. This visit was different than the rest. Believe or not, Saturday was my first time in Venice. Sunday, went to visit one of my oldest and dearest friends out in Oxnard. We had lunch in Ventura and checked out all the shops. What I didn't expect was the MISFITS were in town for a gig and what I didn't expect also was seeing Dez Cadena of BLACK FLAG/FLAG/RED KROSS who's currently playing guitar for the MISFITS. I geeked out like it was the 80's again and I was in junior college. Glad I was able to get the photo opp. Now that I have one last day, puzzled how I will spend it. Tempted to go back to Venice or go Pasadena or hang out in Echo Park. Ahhhh...decisionss
