KK Downing, thanx for the memories!
just got the news today from Terrorizer that KK Downing has quit JUDAS PRIEST before the band would embark on their final tour. This comes as a shock to me since KK Downing (along with Ian Hill) was the founder of JUDAS PRIEST. The 'PRIEST like many of us was a Metal act I grew up on during my high school years and still listen to this day. Easy to say that they've always been an all time fave. I've never missed a tour when it hit the Bay Area. It was one thing for me to accept that the PRIEST would go on a final tour and I felt it's time, but for them to go on their Swan Song without KK Downing?
I didn't think it was going to be this pre-mature, but alas thanx to KK Downing for providing decades of great Metal.
