Lysistrata, Part Two, as illustrated by Aubrey Beardsley (late 1890s)
The situation is at an impasse. Sparta and Athens are still at war, but the women are still fortified in the Athenian acropolis, refusing to have sex with their husbands and lovers until peace is declared. The men are upset. Sex or War?
The Spartan Ambassadors arrive to try to talk the women into sleeping with them.
The women are horny, and some want to go get some, but Lysistrata reminds them of their purpose.
The Spartans get crafty, they send their hottest man to seduce his lover, Lampito, who is up with the women.
Lampito prepares herself and goes out to meet him.
Lampito tells him she will sleep with him, gets him to lie down, climbs over him, but pretends she left something inside, so she gets up and runs away.
When she returns, she strokes him all over, kisses him, and tells him to get ready, but oops, she forgot her perfume. She has to leave.
Lampito does the same thing, over and over again...
Ultimately, the men can't stand it any longer. They have no choice but to give in and sign a peace treaty.
The End.
