An apple theme last night:
1) Apple and Fennel Salad with Honeyed Walnuts
(sliced apple, Fennel in matchsticks and just a little olive oil, lemon juice, and salt)
2) Steak au poivre, finished with a Calvados reduction
3) Sauteed Apples and Ice Cream
