Nearly 1/2 way through the healing process now and I've started applying Vitamin E to the wound to try and help reduce scarring.
Going to start on my dissertation again tommorow, if I can get my intro up to 2,000 words (my first draft was 1,200) I will be well on the way to getting 8,000-10,000 for my final draft thats due in on the 24th (well, I think it is!!). I've finally managed to get hold of a source that analysises the subject I'm covering so I've got some good points to bring up in my main body of text, I just need to be able to get around 6,000 words on them.
