My dream started out with me waking up in my living room very early in the morning and taking a peek out my front windows to see one of the most gorgeous sunrises with deep crimson clouds and bursts of molten gold where the sun was burning through. After about twenty seconds starting at it I decided to go grab my camera and record it properly for posterity, since god knows Im never up early enough to see sunrises. After I grabbed it and walked out the front door though I reallized there were too many buildings and tress in the way for me to really get a good shot at the sky. I mostly turned around and was switching back and forth from looking at my house (which was actually a much larger victorian style house in my dream, than my little baby turn of the century house it really is) trying to figure out where I could climb up to get a respectable view. while I was still debating what to do a girl with dark short cropped hair carrying her own camera was walking down the sidewalk in front of me making little adjustments as she went with it. She turned her head up to look at me and said 'So looks like you're doing the same thing as me huh? Just cant seem to find a spot around here I can get a good shot of it.' That pretty much settled it for me and I offered to let her come in my house and we could go climb up to my little balcony on the house (which aint on my real one) and we'd have our best chance at a shot from there, although it was kinda towards the wrong end of the house near one of the larger trees on the property. So she agreed right away and we started walking around the side of my house (since the front door I walked out of a minute before apparently wasnt there anymore) and I started looking at my house again and saw another balcony closer to the front of the house was there I never remembered going out on, and I realized it was from the front part of the property I didnt own, it was where the main officers were. My house at that point turned into like a 20 unit converted victorian house and I only owned one part of it. As we walked around and started to go up the stairs on the side we saw the house was semi-villa like with the entrances to the different units in the heart of the building, but it was basically a twisted tangle of stairs and little metal pipe fireplaces and street address letters, all with wildly different numbers. At that point I just drew a complete blank about how to get to my house and had to admit to the hottie with me that I had taken some kind of wrong turn cause I had no idea how to get there. At that point someone walking up the stairs to the their own unit and saw us and offered 'well we've been letting people in all morning for the sunrise. Come on in if you wanna.' The hottie and I looked at each other and shrugged at each other in agreement and went in, not wanting to lose the light. We walked in through her front door, which was a glass sliding door and had to push the blinds out of the way as we went. A couple steps put us on the back side of the house opposite where we were on the street, but it was ok cause the sunrise was on the other side of the sky now. the sunrise still had some fire in it, but it wasnt nearly as good as it was at first. The owner wasnt kidding when he said he'd been letting other people come in and take pictures of the sunrise. there were approx 10 other people there milling on his deck taking pictures or sipping coffee. I snapped a couple quick ones and then started making adjustments to my camera to try to speed up the shutter speed to the max so I could try to take some pictures with the sun directly in it without burning the camera out. For the too many-ieth time this dream I didnt know what I was doing apparently and couldnt find the shutter speed option. The girl told me she had finished taking her pictures and seemed mostly satisfied. I finally found it and turned around to get a really good look at the environment I was in and realized she had an open air steel refinery in her back yard, with no fences between the house and the factory. It was a huge sprawling complex taking up a couple city blocks worth of land. Not 50 feet from her deck a large bowl swung over another container and started pouring out a man thick streamer of molten metal, belching little sparks and droplets of steel as it fell. Perfectly happy with my consolation prize of being able to take pics of molten steel I start snatching up different pictures of the facility and the steel being poured at a few locations within my line of sight. Something caught my eye though just in front of the deck here. There was a shallow hollow there where they had a pool of molten metal and I saw the head of this huge cat, the size of a cougar, pop up and he had pushed something over with his head to roll it away from where the metal was. I realized the cat had jumped in by the motal pool to save something. Standing up and walking toward us with shaking legs it was awe inspiring. The cat had a glob of glowing gold steel hanging from his wisker and his right hind leg was plastered in it as well. Ultra small droplets hung off its fur coat. I started taking pictures of its struggling few steps, my only concern trying to record its miraculous act. After walking about 5 or 6 feet its legs gave and it roared at us in defiance, not pain, trying to point us to what it had saved. We looked down and next to the deck curled up into a ball was this little girl that couldnt have been more than 6. she was unconscious with some of her face burned and the side of her body where she had fallen. The cat had curled itself up into a ball with its skin peeling off and was shuddering uncontrolably, but still never crying in complaint or pain for itself. People rushed down to start to tend to both of them and I was just overwhelmed by the sacrifice and the pain of them I started crying helplessly. Through the tears I shouted as best I could, someone call and ambulance!

Where have you been Mister?
