My main dream of the night was another SG one. Its starting to get a little weird now that I'm starting to get little SG cameos on a regular basis, but *shrug* who knows?
I started out in a little four door coupe car, with me and someone else in the back, and reagan and another SG in the front seat. We all got out of the car and we were in a huge parking lot of cars which was really just a large grass field everyone had parked in. I had a pillow in my arms I was trying to find a dignified way to hold onto. I tried folding it up and wrapping it up under my arms, but just kinda settled on fipping it behind my back and holding it with both my hands pressed against me, kinda like you'd hold a belt that wouldnt reach. We were talking and Reagan was telling me I was welcome to join them later for something, but they were going to be heading into the fair now and there werent enough tickets for me too. Mildly disappointed I took the high road and said that was fine and after they went on their way I just started wandering around the parking lot with my pillow trying to find something interesting. After walking to the far side of the lot I came up to a point in the chain link fence where there was a small gate there. The gate was kinda like the little enclosure for a baseball diamond with the gate going up against another little chain link fence that herded you to the left and right, with the top sealed off with chain link as well, before it opened up to the interior of the park. Apparently someone had opened up the lock and was letting people in for free for a few minutes, so I decided to go ahead and go in and once I was inside kinda scattered from the other few people that went in to make double sure I wouldnt get spotted and booted back out again. We were up near the top of the ridge with a small little field of grass and large douglas fir's on both sides. Through the firs on the left you could see the hill drop sharply down and at the base of that was where the band was going to be playing. It was still too early for that and only a few people had gathered there so I wandered more off to the left of that, still downhill quite a bit but when i reached the base of the hill in front of me there was this building with large chicken wire cages set up. I gave the doorman there a ticket of some kind, or maybe a small amount of cash and walked in. It was one long room, on the left wall was the chicken wire cages, stacked 3 tall usually and every one of them had monkeys set up in them. On the right hand side of cages there were college frat boys in em. They were doing their best to make monkey noises, but wasnt really imitating the real monkeys, just doing their own imaginary versions. As I walked through I mostly ignored the frat boys and tried to make more authentic imitations of the real monkey noises I heard. About 2/3 of the way down the corridor of cages I saw one of the frat boys kinda throw out a little laso of string that wrapped around a guinea pig that had been running up near the frat boy side of the cages. It died almost instantly. The couple frat boys made a little mocking comment about 'that's what happens when you try to come up in this cage'. I kinda shook my head in confusion and walked out of the far end of the little display and into the main building the display was ajoined to. It was an old dark building, with a couple random pieces of debris laying around. I remember wondering where I was going to go from here, and that's about where the dream unraveled.
