I saw The Italian Job yesterday and it has those Mini-Coopers all in it. I could never drive one of those things beucase I am 6'4", and I would be all huntched over and cramped up if I tried to sit in it. The car that I own now is bad enough - some have dubbed it "the speck" besuase of that rental car commercial where the guy goes to get a car and the only thing they have left is the super tiny "the speck, " it kinda looka like a clown car, or maybe one of those tiny cars that the Masons drive in parades.
Anyway my car is dead too, first my only key broke of in the lock in the trunk so I could go have a key made. So instead I went and bought a Dremel and carved my own key from a blank and the two pieces of the broke key. But to use this key you still have to do a secret handshake to get the friggin' thing to open the door and start the car. After the key incident "the speck" up and died at the end of the driveway with a puff of smoke and a gurgling sound. But I found one of those old car repair manuels at McKays used books. I read through it a bit and I have learned how to read the "computer" on the car with a voltometer. This is the thing you usually pay the guy a couple hundred bucks to do. So today, in theory I must solve the problem of the sickly "speck"
p.s. my roommate Sam is in Scotland making whiskey for the next couple of weeks. If your boredom is beyond insanity, you can, in theory, watch him slave away at the brewary on their web cams. http://62.6.145.234/
---got The Animatrix and the T2 eXtreme DVD tonight...good stuff
