Wow.

Full moons are always amusing.

I had an extremely lazy day today. I drug myself out of bed at about 10:30 and left the apartment around 12:00 to feed myself. On the way there I saw that dirt had a cover page mentioning Gang of Four and suddenly had a major impulse to go see them. I had checked for dates before and there...

jonnytrrrash7 spins at all sorts of places it seems...like our sg parties. best dj ever! he even plays bright eyes...

i cancelled my cable a few months ago and now i get one channel. and it's the one with "sit and be fit". comcast sent me a bill for $7.50 and i paid it and then they sent me back a check for $7.50. weirdoes.

i don't think it's "normal" for a subway. this one has been open since june. i've worked with the girl who just took it over as manager for about three years at the thornton store and i transferred up here with her. she was basically told that all the crew was "bad" and she went on a hiring spree. so i close the store, mostly and there are five high school kids who work nights. we only schedule two people on at night so they're all getting 3-6 hours each for the week.

we're sort of "cleansing" the crew so only the strong remain. like survivor, for sure!

Saw Dresden Dolls again last night. I saw them both nights on the NIN show and decided that I liked them quite a bit, but it was nice to see them headlining a show at the fox. The highlight of the show for me was Amanda playing drums for their cover of 'I Love Rock & Roll'. Good times.

So many good shows on the...

i can walk to the fox too...i also like it there because i can get a "leanin' rail" and see out over everyone. i still haven't seen the dandy warhols yet and have wanted to since...13 tales...that one's a for sure.

atmosphere is still a maybe. i saw him at the fillmore two years ago and i'm pretty sure it was sold out then!

do you know how to get tickets to the bright eyes e-town show?
smashedpumpkin:
shocked i could probably get that night off...that would be exciting!

i went to the fox atmosphere show and the gothic one...which i guess makes me skeptical about seeing him somewhere as big as the fillmore again. wink

I work on in an office at Pearl & Broadway and spend most of my day staring at a computer screen. Within the past two years, my vision degredation has finally become advanced enough that I need vision correction in order to (safely) drive. While I was discussing this with my eyedoctor, she told me that this is a relatively new phenomenon, but they suspect...

My journal is apparently all about live music in Boulder. I saw Buddy Guy at e-town tonight. I'd never seen him before, but he's still an amazing showman even at 69 years old. My all-time favorite e-town show is still ani & hammel at the UMC, but this show was a close second. He's apparently coming back through colorado in November, so I'll probably have...

It's easy sometimes to forget how spoiled we are here and how much good music comes through. Tonight I saw the Procussions for $5 @ 'round midnight. I saw them about a year ago opening for Blackalicious with the Lifesavas, who are both great acts, but the Procussions totally upstaged them both. The show tonight was great also, although sparsely attended. I'm still confused about...

I went to see string cheese at etown tonight. I've been going to etown for ages, but I've never seen such a nightmare of an etown show. Beware of ukulele players wearing AC/DC shirts. Such a total nightmare. Such a totally beautiful nightmare of a show. Jake Shimabukuro, you are my hero.

Oh yeah, if you go to shows in Boulder, I'd like to meet...
