I just watched War Of The Worlds. Thoughts:
1. Depressing. It just reinforced my opinion that everyone dies alone.
2. The scenes where the landscape is covered in blood looked like the devil had a home abortion.
3. More depressing because even if you survive the end of the world, what are you going to do? Procreate with some fat old loser for the good of the human race? Knew I should have died before all this started...
4. Impressed that the tripod robots didn't get confused by mirrors. If I was a robot, I think I would be confused by mirrors.
5. Wary of what's lurking around us that we don't know about.
6. Stupid because I obviously should have read the book before I saw the film. Now I feel like an uncultured swine.
