Since you asked, here's context for my parental wisdom:
My dad was reading some book about how masturbating regularly makes men less likely to get prostate cancer, and so I asked if masturbation was good for women, too, causing my mom to reply that masturbation is good for everyone.
The explanation for the second story is really just that my dad is silly. We were driving by a strip club and he was recounting how it used to be owned by a biker gang, but they got indicted and now it is run by nuns, "and those nuns are tough, man." Yeah.

right. so, update. yes.

i went out and bought the second season of coupling today, so i can watch the first season for the 47th time and now sail smoothly into second seasonal waters.

does this make me a loser? yes is a fair bet on the answer to that one. but it's a british show, so i've got the whole sort of foreign (semi-)film...
