So NZ went into lockdown on Thursday (well, Wednesday a minute before midnight). I think it's the right thing to do to get the pandemic under control in this country. By isolating everyone in their homes for a month we can severely limit the infections and identify households where it's been caught without needing to track and trace. It's highly disruptive but not as much as letting it go unchecked.
The company I work for watched Arderns 1:30 Press meeting and organised for everyone to work from home. I'd prepared a one-page report, the Friday before, on what we needed to do for a orderly transference but that was slated for a week of work so everything was chaos.
The worst things about working from home is the silence and the sitting plus having to do everything across the internet. Then there's the temptation to leave the personal computer on.
Stay safe people.
