Went to see Audioslave in Cardiff yesterday, God they were awesome. They played a nice mix of tracks from both of their albums together with some classic RATM and Soundgarden tracks, along with an acoustic track by Temple of Dogs (ask October). Was in the second row for the support band (And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead) and managed to stay there for the first 6 or 7 Audioslave tracks, before deciding to head towards the back with queenevileel. We got to sit in the stand to the side, had a great view of the stage, and managed to get out of the way of the truly apocalyptic pit that started up during Killing In The Name. Seriously, 8,000 people going beserk does not happen with many other songs , but I'm glad I didn't get crushed.
We (October,queenevileel and jimmykane) tried to intercept them round the back, but failed. We did get free Audioslave guitar plectrums, and Chris Cornell gets an SG sticker as well. We're all winners.

Enough of that for now, had to miss my poker tourney cos of the gig, but ah well.
On a final note - BUY THE NEW ALBUMS BY AUDIOSLAVE, OASIS AND SYSTEM OF A DOWN - THEY ALL ROCK!!!
