Camera arrived. The Powershots are larger than I had hoped. Oh well. It may be left in London while I'm in Paris. I'm sure It'll get plenty of use in Prague and Budapest.
I've got so many photos of Paris, and yet there are two moments where I kick myself for not having my film camera...first, an old woman feeding birds out of her mouth from her balcony in Montmartre. I had just gotten off the plane, and taxi'd into Paris. This scene set the stage for the rest of the trip. The other was another old woman near Gare de Lyon feeding pigeons with crackers. The backdrop, light, and all other factors were aligned properly for a good picture.
Still, even though I'm visiting Prague and Budapest this trip, I think I'll go digital only for the sake of practicality. I have 20 rolls of unprocessed film and no access to a dark room at the moment. This camera takes great photos. I'm sure it'll suffice fine.

I see we're quite the world traveler...Prague's been on my mind a lot lately too.

It's really nice that you can do that! I mean, I'd love to see much more of the world than I get to, but it's kinda hard when you're locked into the rat race with 2 weeks vacation a year!
