Not sure how I got stuck with candy duty this Halloween, but here I sit. Is it enough to keep occupied and have time pass quickly? Are there enough to at least see interesting costumes? No. And also, no. Halloween just hasn't been the same since I was a kid. Kind of sad. I don't even get to go anywhere to see the sexy costumes. So it's not even that kind of fun as an adult. The worst part is that enough people come by that I can't watch a movie or play a game because it'll be too distracting.
Well, at least this year I've a different plan in mind for late tonight. It's not going to be much, admittedly, but I do plan on celebrating my first Samhain this year. I've got a few things ready for my altar. I'm going to be keeping it simple, but it's the intention that matters.
And I'm going to try to write a bit after. Writing has always been part of the ritual for me. It just feels right. You know?
