A few years ago my brother and his kids moved back into the house with us. I felt bad for my nieces and nephews, because their mom left them, and their grandma (my mom) left them. They were missing out on some of the things I remembered growing up enjoying. Like baking Halloween cookies. So, I looked up some recipes and we started baking. The boys were never really interested, except to eat them, but the girls loved it. Fast forward a few years, they're older now, and I assumed they would probably feel like they were too old for that. Being that they're teenagers and preteens now, you know?
So, I was surprised when my nieces started talking about our Halloween baking this year. They were excited, and decided on cookies again, since we did cupcakes last year. We bought new cookie cutter shapes and some decorations, and I baked last night and helped them decorate.
They're getting better at decorating, mine still look like a 5 year old did them. Anyway, Happy Halloween SG! Anyone want a cookie?
