So... I freaking love this game. When I first heard about it, I knew I was going to want to play. But, I'm broke as hell, so I didn't expect to be able to play it. Thankfully, my brother surprised me by getting it for me.
And, it's everything I hoped for and more. The fact that there's a dedicated meow button is amazing. They captured the cat behaviors perfectly. It's definitely a cat lover's game, made by cat lovers.
All of that aside, it's a really well made game. Design wise, it's always fairly intuitive on where to go. It controls well, and was a fun game to play. The aesthetic was incredible. It's a very Blade Runner vibe. And the music gave me strong Final Fantasy 7 vibes.
Where it surprised me the most though, was the story. I wasn't expecting much to it beyond reuniting the cat with his family. But it went a lot deeper than I thought it would, it made you feel for the characters, and by the end, it managed to make me tear up. Hallmarks of a great game.
