It's been a week since I picked it up. I have only just started reading. But, I find myself already in love with this book. However, it's a bitter sweet experience. It's a story of a woman who is forgotten as soon as she is out of sight. It's entrancing, but it's quickly become a heavy weight. I relate to Addie far too strongly. I haven't been cursed the way she has, but I feel her struggle on a deeply personal level. Because that's how I've always felt. People forget me as soon as I'm gone.
"...it is sad, of course, to forget. But it is a lonely thing, to be forgotten. To remember when no one else does."
Well anyway, I guess I'll see where this particular experience is going to take me.
