Well. I'm reluctant to say anything, in case I do what I always do... but so far, this seems different. So, I've been trying to get into a healthier lifestyle this last month or so. If you've seen my pictures, it's no secret that I'm a fat guy. I've tried in the past to make changes to that, but I always end up giving up after a couple of days. The fact that I've kept this up for a month now, is pretty incredible to me.
Hell... as much as I hate to admit it, I was getting dangerously close to 300 pounds. I was in the high 280's last I had checked.
But, changing my eating habits (partially due to anxiety, but mainly because I was starting to feel unhealthy), and adding exercise a few times a week has helped. After a month, I've actually lost about 10 pounds. Maybe more.
I'm proud of myself and all. But, I still feel like shit. Too many years of inactivity and bad habits. I just need to be patient, not get discouraged, and keep at it.
