So, I've been playing No Man's Sky for about a week and a half now. Since my little buddy passed away. I'm about 40ish hours into it now. I think it's been helpful. It's an amazing game. For something that was so universally hated when it released, it's really enjoyable. Considering they've spent 5 years updating and improving it, it's not surprising. One thing that gets me though, is how incredibly lonely it makes me feel. Which, as I understand it, was kind of what they were originally going for. It's weird. It's helpful in my current loneliness. But it creates a different kind of loneliness while playing.
