Yes, give your animals horrible commerical pet food that you have no idea what goes into it and you know nothing about animals nutrition and give your pets tons of vaccincations that they probably don't need, when you know nothing about vaccinations or the diseases they're being vaccinated for, and give them tons of flea treatments when if they were healthy, they wouldn't attract fleas and ticks in the first place and their immune systems would be able to fight off most diseases, and don't spay or neuter your pets even though they could end up having kids that you can't care for, and they get all sorts of behaviorial problems and they're at a higher risk for cancer and you can't take your dogs to the park because they'll harrass everyone else's dog, and let your cats outside even though they're killing the birs which are just starting to come back after DDT and the fact that someone could pick up your cat and sell it to an animal testing lab for $20 (dogs too) where they'll rip out its spine and inject it with a bunch of shit, and don't bother training little dogs so that they're extremely difficult and bite, and declaw your cats so they get fat and have horrible behavior problems for the rest of their lives, because cats walk on their claws and they rip out the first joint in their toes, and they can't defend themselves or climb without their claws, do you know how many dead cats are found with bark imbedded in their claws because they were desperately trying to climb away from something but couldn't? And don't work with your animals on their behaviorial problems until it gets so bad that you have to give them up, and don't read any animals psychology or nutrition or health books and just blindly trust your vet on everything even though the animal nutrition books in vet schools are PROVIDED BY THE COMPANIES WHO MAKE PET FOOD, and get your cat delawed because you can't be bothered to buy it a fucking scratching post, and buy horrible inbred and mess up puppies from puppy mills so they can stay in business, and do tons of animal testing that doesn't need to be done because you already know what's going to happen, like having vet students rip out mice's spines is really going to help them so much in life, and then tell me, that your horribly obese cat with arthiritis who is a carnivore and has been fed grain its whole life, who is going to live to be 15 when it could've lived to be 30 and been healthy and able to move around, is fine, and that your dog who doesn't get enough exericise and has behavior problems because you didn't bother to learn anything about dogs, and is also a carnivore and eats grains, is fine, and that all the books and articles about animal nutrition and psychology and pet food companies and how bad declawing is, is just stupid PETA crap and is just for hippies and couldn't possibly make your animals' lives any better because it's all crap, even though you know as much about animals as I know about rocket science.

Most people will at least listen when I try to tell them about animal stuff. But there are always a few people who are like, "*MY* animals are fine. They don't need that stuff." And it's like, no, they're very unhealthy and you have your head up your ass.

Every time I tell people I have ferrets, or they meet them, they're like eeew or are convinced they are the worst pet in the world b/c they bite people and dig holes, etc. So then I sit there for 45 min. trying to describe how great my ferrets are and why other people have problems: because they don't have the time or effort to care for such a sweet pet and I happened to have done the research BEFORE i got them.
ARRRRRGGGGHHHH i hate people.
