Great, I overslept and now I'm going to be late for work again. I work at my dad's so it's less formal but I'm supposed to get there on time.
I'm getting kind of worried about this girl Amanda that Liv and I are going to be living with. I met her online in this really weird way: she was clicking on the random button on deadjournal and found my friend Kiki's journal and my friend was talking about going to Woodman's (a grocery store here), and Amanda was like "Are you from Madison too?" and I told her I was looking for a possible roommate for fall, so she came over one time when we were having a party, and Liv and I both thought she was okay, and our other guy backed out, so we ended up signing the lease with Amanda. She seems all right; she's the same type of person we are, you know, drugs, tattoos, liberal, all that, and she has a job. What bothers me is her boyfriend. Right now she's dating this guy who is a total psycho. Absolute Lifetime Movie, stereotypical, textbook-case, crazy possessive guy:
1. He gets mad when she sees her friends.
2. He's trying to change her: he's conservative; she's very liberal.
3. He yells at her for doing things that he does.
4. He wants to get married and have kids within five years (Amanda is 18 and is just graduating from high school this year), and he told her this the first time they met. She's said she doesn't want to do that at all, and either way, that's really weird for an 18-year-old guy in America to fucking be looking for a wife.
So yeah, total textbook case possessive psycho. She said she was going to break up with him (she's still kind of involved with this other Steve who seems much more normal) but she hasn't yet. I do not want to deal with this guy at all ever, and if she's still together with him, I know he'll be over at the apartment. Especially because he's all like "drugs are evil blah blah blah" I don't want him fucking up my shit because he calls the cops on us or something. And anyway he's a fucking controlling, possessive, psycho guy, so he's total bad news and Amanda shouldn't even be dating him at all.
And I really, really, really hate the show "Baby Looney Toons" and it's a fucking terrible show and I don't understand why it hasn't been canceled yet. The Tweetie character is the most annoying thing ever. I want to fucking smash its head in with a baseball bat.
And fucking Hackett is pissing me off because shes all like I could stay here and get an apartment with some people and get a summer job, and its like, no, because your personality is even less people compliant than mine, and youre almost 20 and youve never worked anywhere in your life, and its already May so most of the jobs are taken. She has no real friends. Shes not a bad person, but she just has this personality like she hasnt been around people enough, so she doesnt pick up physical and verbal cues for things, and shes extremely socially awkward anyway, and shes an intellectual snob so that doesnt help. Theres a word for it but I forgot what it is.
