...and I haven't gone crazy ( yet! )! :D
...no, haven't done a whole lot - 1st 2 days were easy, having the usual girls' weekend
did a bit o'wanderin' but otherwise mainly stayed within a couple miles o'the apartment
...I did go to the MOA yesterday, which was kinda hilarious at points :
later in the afternoon while near the food court & restaurants, my arms was grabbed by a young woman
"Brad, I thought I lost you!" [ her eyes suddenly grew large: ] "YOU're not Brad...!"
then from down a ways - "HONEY... I'm over here..."
...and, you have to realize, this young man was tall, w/ short-hair almost white, & muscular
aka NOTHING like me...!!
not that she wasn't cute, mind you - but I was nigh-prepared to have this guy approach me angrily... but he walked away laughing about it, with her clutching him closely :D
( I can only assume they'd been up at the bars? )
the uber-drivers were pretty cool, too - I always feel like I'm being obnoxious or a nuisance since when in their vehicles I feel semi-safe enough to start babbling as if I already know them *sad laugh*
oh well *shrugs*
the uber drive on the way back was from Malaysia & while talking about vacations was talking up traveling to Malaysia fairly cheaply
...and was convinced that I would be guaranteed to return with a WIFE *laughs*
at least he was a very cool guy nonetheless :D
got a haircut late morning today & then wandered around that area for a bit - having lunch & checking out a couple stores as well ( I got some new CDs... and socks! )
what I can't understand is that around that area post-haircut & on the way back, I kept getting Smiles & Looks...
Is There Something I Should Know ?!?
seriously - I've never been "admired" in my life ( that I'm aware of, let alone noticed! ), so is there something I didn't notice, something weird/off ?!?
PLEASE, let me know - 'cuz it's still kinda weirding me out... especially since the Smiles & Looks were from some decent - if not outright beautiful - ladies !!
ANYways...

7/18 : love people giving me vacation suggestions/ideas, but on what constitutes "local" don't quite mesh *laughs* - even if I desired to go to Duluth, that's a 50hr walk non-stop - Roseau County Fair? 109hr walk non-stop - Marshall County Fair? 103hr walk ... "in state" is not "local"
7/19 : on vacation for the next 10 days & 19hrs ( give-or-take ) ... spawnlings this weekend & then - *shrugs* a local vaca, I guess... I'll figure somethin' t'keep from goin' stir-crazy, I gaurantee - it IS summertide, after all :) <3
7/19 II : I love how the media & websites & local etc are all saying "in this excessive heatwave, be sure to check on your neighbours" ... riiight - I'm sure my neighbours would LOVE me knocking on their doors every couple hours saying I'm just checking to be sure they're ok *laughs*
7/21 : Highlights of this Morning w/ the Spawnlings : "Isolated T-Shirts To The West" & "Eyewax" ... 'nuff said ;)
7/21 II : just short of 3hrs in the pool - a'yep, time enough... now back in for feeding & relaxation :) ( no, I didn't swim - not that I can swim anyways, but I'm just kind of a 'relax in the water' guy... & being around rowdy daughters wouldn't quite work for doing that :) )
7/22 : 3rd full day of vaca - 1st w/o the girls ( had a fun weekend w/ 'em, so that rocked! )... which direction should I wander today once I hit the shower ? mayhaps I should shave this week & get a haircut - gettin' a little long, since it was bugging the hells outta me yesterday...
7/23 : amused at the uber driver on the way back from the MOA ... has me very intrigued about someday visiting Malaysia ( and cheaply! ) - BUT is also convinced that I would be guaranteed to return with a wife *laughs*
7/24 : from watching the live Mueller Testimony this morning: half the report should be disqualified/ignored since it wasn't legally their duty/job - Mueller is senile and/or didn't read/write the report - apparently law is inapplicable to Mueller AND democrats UNLESS they can use it
7/24 II : uhm... has UPS completely gone mental - or did they just lose drivers or what...? something ordered made it Maple Grove (local) last night & was scheduled to deliver today - but now "due to severe weather delay (Iowa)" won't be until Fri ... uhm, which IS it, UPS, local or Iowa
