fairly standard meandering convo, as is our usual on the rare occasion that he picks up
elsewise been pretty quiet for the last week+ of this particular RU/U "season" of postings
the Final 45th already ! *(wow)*
I did walk out on the 4th to Arbor Lakes for the 1st time & ended up seeing the newest couple Marvel flicks :)
was wore out by late afternoon, so took my 1st uber home as well
s'lotta 1sts, neh ? :D
we're just 2 weeks away from my Final Vaca of the year, too - and, no, I honestly can't afford t'do a demn thing, so just gonna be stayin' local
have a feelin' I'll be going completely mental by the 3rd day off - let alone the 9th in a row!...
but I'll live, I always do :)
just gotta keep my mind active & body semi-so ... and get outta the apt every day, if not every other day
here's hopin' for some nice summer weather & no sudden cooldown or storm system from hell *crosses fingers*
I'd love t'do a roadtrip for the year, but I strapped m'self pretty good with my april Hawai'i vaca...
it was well worth it, though
part of the convo w/ fathre is that he's no longer doing vacations, so I don't have t'worry 'bout thinkin' o'someone else when planning next years trip
( we'd talked about last year if I was to do a trip overseas to Poland, he'd want to come - but no longer, so *shrugs* )
no worries... I can count on one hand how many vacations I've taken with others since I was 15
'course, I can count on both hands how many vacations I've taken since I was 15 in total *shrugs*
after all, I've only been traveling a few years now - so there's that, neh ?
Poland still sounds good - assuming I can find an affordable tour-type company that includes days to explore the cities/towns we end up in
( I don't mind seeing differing set sights, but spending an entire vaca on a tour bus & in hotels with the same people & w/out getting to explore a bit... not my cup o'bacon! )
there's a lot of history there & a lot to see - so figure with it being 1/4 of my bloodline, it'd be worth it being my 1st out-of-the-country experience
...again, assuming I can find something affordable & interesting :)
ANYways... don't have much else t'type about for this Final Post of the 45th Year
Farethee well, my Lovelies & Gentlefolk - and, please, spare the 'yearly wishes' spiel for someone to celebrates
seriously...!
unless it includes substantial provocative or subtle flashes of nudity including a promise of going out to eat and/or drinks ;)
twittage ::
7/3 : no work on the 'morrow, so thinkin' o'walkin' out to Arbor Lakes/Maple Grove ... would be only slightly more walking than it is to walk into Plymouth ( really, only about 5-10mins more ) - and there's theatre playing what I want to see & restaurants, too :)
7/4 : looks like a beautiful morning, so gonna start wanderin' / explorin' & makin' my way towards Arbor Lakes/Maple Grove ... haven't walked this particular direction, that I remember, anyways ;) - Happy Independence Day !
