Place Exciting And Interesting Title Here : The 40 Week 12 Round Up/Update [T40W12RU/U]
summer seems to be struggling to hold on, but as we've hit the final weekend in September I think it's inevitable that The W Word is around the corner.
my daughters have been in ND since Monday, until tomorrow, I believe.
from a phone call it seems the ex has gotten used to The Nothingness Expanse, but the girls sound intermittently worn-out, bored, and ready to go back.
( I'm honestly not surprised, a 3day weekend can get too long in a town you can literally walk through in 15mins or less - a week is madness! )
a good friend was working in town, so we went to eat after work yesterday...
nice t'have good food and good convo with great friends, even if it's just every so many months
work's been busy, which is - of course! - a good thing...
while I doubt it'll ever come to a time when there's "nothing to do," I'd still rather keep busy than just sit there as the clock slows
otherwise it's been my usual, boring life
...been walking less, and my weight is now in the 170s - though I've been told you can't tell...
I guess with most of the weight just goin' to the gut, I'm just a 'skinny guy' with a barrel belly?
BUT... the Complete Calvin & Hobbes collection arrived today, so as I've already spent the early eve laughing heartily with my zune on random, suffice to say I might as well continue through the eve until I'm tired enough to crash
Farethee well for now, and half a great weekend... the other half's mine
