I ran across this quote and considering the current state of affairs I thought it had a lot of meaning...

"Atrocity has no excuses, no mitigating arguement. Atrocity never balances or rectifies the past. Atrocity merely arms the future for more atrocity. It is self-perpetuating upon itself - a barbarous form of incest. Whoever commits atrocity also commits those future atrocities thus bred."

hmm fitting with just life in general, not to mention the state of affairs.
how are you now that you are the busy bee?
industrielle:
True. Violence begets violence. I find it sad that I believe that somewhere, sometime, someone has done every horrible thing I can imagine to another human. There are so many nutters out there that nearly no atrocity remains untouched. Sigh.... The world makes me sad. I'm going to go snuggle my kitty now. miao!!

You know two jobs stinks! LOL

Started the DUNE series from the beginning. The folks at Summerlin library are getting to know me way to well. I spend so much time sitting around at work somedays that I had to do something before my brain rots.

Marathon training is going very well. Logged a half marathon this morning up in Summerlin. I really didnt plan...

Congrats on making it to the half marathon level! I'm so jealous - I might just have to start training again (for next year, of course). It looks like my new job is going to give me enough free time to do good things for myself smile

So I had weapons qualifications at work today. The key word is today saying that I am stuck on days for a week doing the quals. I dislike working during the day. To many politics!

OK i am tired. Running around in the sun all day playing soldier takes it out of ya. Night, night!

So after a week of being beck in the grind I hate it even more. Unfortunately to many incompetent "business" men run things.
I am glad things are starting to work out with my other endeavors, finally. Hopefully I can be away from the Test Site in the next few months and get back a somewhat normal life. We will see.

Off to a pool...

Oh well back home from Santa Cruz. Had a totally awesome time on the beach. Renting a beach house is worth the outflow of cash. Think I am doing the Southern California thing next year. It was a great week but a bit cold up on the northern coast.

Well one more day off and then back to the grind. biggrin

Hey, I saw you in the running group and that you are training for the LV Marathon. I'm pretty new to running and am going to run the half in DEC. When and where do you train/run? I live in henderson and have considered joining the group that meets on Sundays at the Village Runner on Stephanie.
twztdchik:
Where'd you go? And without me too. Ain't that a bitch
