Well, that lasted longer than I thought, but once again my low expectations were met.

I have been on holiday since Monday. Heading out of town with the roommate on Saturday for a week in BC. She is having second thoughts about going with me. How sad--when anticipation is replaced by trepidation.

So, at the moment I am sitting at home alone, a couple of beers in me, and the fire pit ablaze. Savour the moment, quit regretting what is not, that is the mantra I keep repeating currently. Retpitition does not breed conviction.

Two days to get the abode in order until the sojourn!

Time for a beer, and then crash for half a day.
