Well, just got back from Easter Service at an African American
Baptist church in Baltimore. My GF Dana dragooned me into going because her Labor Union was going to be there . She has taken me to lots of African American gatherings before, but
this one consisted primarily African American women and kids.
Lots of old guys, and lots of older women,Grandmothers
mostly, who have become parents again in their old age. I heard
story after story about their kids dieng from drugs and violence, or landing in prison
and them becoming parents again in their 50's,60's and in a few
cases their 70's. My hat is off to these old folks who have taken their grandkids under their wings. They are unsung heros.

I wish we did have more say in what goes down. But if you look at things in Context, we have lots of freedom and control. Just not over who works there and who doesn't. Meh.
