After a few days they took the boy, from school (by sheriff's deputy) into state custody only to send him to a boys' home. He's 15, no trouble--CPS even told me there's no history of violence, drugs, sex, or anything. His adoptive parents just "didn't like him" and "didn't understand him". He wasn't allowed to stay in our home long-term because I have a 13 year old daughter. They felt it would be too hard to monitor. A boys' home is better, apparently, than a stable, healthy family environment. We are all very saddened today.
Update on my titties: the lumps were, thank GOD, just "complex cysts" meaning NOT cancer and something we monitor, but don't die over. So, that's good.
Good news, bad news...such is life.
Cheers,
