I ordered the soundtrack to Akira a few days ago, and it arrived today. It's soooo good. It's hard to explain. It's capable of standing alone, I feel, without the movie, and being judged as excellent music.

It's great writing music, or at least, for me it is.

I have two days off in a row, finally. I am going to rest and visit friends.

I can't seem to get rested these days. I feel tired all the time. Working 8a-4p just isn't for me.

Well I'm currently bidding on a set of 4 of the books on Ebay. I used to have the set and played one of the text games, but gave up bc I always forgot the commands. I got lost in a maze too as I recall, damn non visual games. wink "Pick Up Latern"

I completed the fafsa! I may finally be going back to college, financed entirely by me! This may seem to be small and trivial to some, but it feels nice to be independent.

whew. I feel sooo much better now that I've got that done. it's akin to taking a large shit.

Actually, I ended up sleeping with the Queen Ant, so now she is pregnant again, this time with my ant babies. Now that the next batch of babies are going to be royalty and all.. the ant queen wants your apt. so thats why the ants are in front of your steps. They are casing the place out.

You should notify the manager of the infestation. I thought it was their responsibility to take care of insect problems. I mean if they want you to live in their complexes, they should at least make sure they are free from ants.

I don't live in a complex. I rent a single bedroom house on the side of a wide ditch they call a bayou. The ants are coming in because its been raining a lot and they're looking for dry ground. My landlord's really anal about cleanliness, and while my apt.'s not super dirty, it's definately not up to her standards. I don't want her raising my deposit because of my apt's condition, which she just might do. One more thing: my landlord's a bored housewife who deals in real estate to pass the time. I don't have the energy to take her bitching...

thanks. some quick points:

1. yes, the job isn't for most people. Working with people takes a lot of patience, and disabled folk take just a little bit more. HOWEVER:

2. They are people first, and disabled second. So I try my hardest to treat them as I would everyone else. I think that's something most everyone's capable of. If you're naturally a dick, then don't change just because they have a disability. Just be willing to get an ass kicking.

3. Rewarding? Frankly, it's an easy job. The pay's low, but all I do for the most part is drive people from place to place and occasionally have talks with the guys where I try to show them why what they're doing looks really weird.
