Sad, sad, sad. I have that "last day of the holidays" feeling, and not in a good Harry-Potter-going-back-to-Hogwarts way.
Tomorrow is my last day in the States. Last time I was due to leave I got a friend to pull some strings and change my flight but this time I'm really going. It's been pretty much my favourite holiday ever, mainly due to the awesome people I've hung out with (and one at least who I didn't hang out with but who is awesome all the same).
Dear awesome people,
Thanks.

There will eventually be pics up at saladmaster.org but for now there are just a couple of random ones I put up when I was playing round. There will be much culling before the rest of the pics go up since I seem to be going through a particularly unphotogenic stage right now.
Anyway, there are some good things about going home: not living out of a backpack, sleeping in a bed (though this is rather a comfy couch), seeing my ratties (who will be disgusted at the cat smell all over my clothes), sexing...err...seeing my boy (who went home several days ago and who I miss muchly).
Something that occurred to me yesterday when I was getting out this wee beauty of a computer: I may not quite have the mindset of the ideal mac user. See, there's this charming little apple logo on the top of this machine but to me it's upside down. The only time I see it is when I get the machine out and open it up with the screen facing me. The apple is placed so that it is the right way up (once the top is opened) for anybody looking at it from the back. Now I think it's more important for me to see and appreciate the little glowy apple than for some random person on the other side of the room to. When it's opened up and I can't see the logo I couldn't give a shit which way up it is. Am I wrong on this? If any true Mac fanatics wish to tell me how they feel about this I'd be interested.
I'm probably just going to stick some tacky My Little Pony sticker or something over the top of it anyway...
I'm rambling. Possibly time for sleep.

Sorry, i love the apple logo but while i am working on my mac i look at the screen and feel happy that the logo is being admired by others less unfortunate than me.
y'know it was wierd not only spotting a SG fan from NZ but one who likes the wierd combo of Rowling and Morris like me. Where'd they come from?
