PAX was awesome.
Heaps of cool stuff happened - far too much to write about in detail - but a few tidbits:
nintendogs: met loads of new puppies...I am a big loser
friends driving a big fuck-off vehicle, I believe it was an H2 (aka travelling house...these things aren't seen where we come from)
loads of nerds
finally met a heap of great people I had previously only interacted with over the intertron
loads of PA t-shirts
MC Frontalot live - excellent show
final of the Omegathon was something to tell the grandchildren about (original Atari tank combat - oldschool and yet unbelieveably exciting)
highly entertaining panels

Porkfry tacos and the "almost punch you in the nuts" game. Sadly I wasn't qualified to play.
