Well this summer sure was...a lot!
I started with a 3 week UK tour back in June, then a 3 week France tour (including the SG ShootFest organised by @leelou and @ambre!) and 2 week Italy tour in July, and ended with the longest tour I have ever done, a full month in Germany! It was a lot, since when I'm on tour I do 2-5 shoots PER DAY, but I got some amazing pictures done, and had a wonderful time!
Here are a few BTS highlights from my time there!
My tour started off with a week in Berlin, shooting with 12 different photographers. Unfortunately, with it being August, a lot of my regulars were out of town, but I still got some amazing shoots in! The photos below were taken by my friend El Fox, when they came over for breakfast at the house I was staying at. I love the candid vibe of all the images. I was also thrilled to get back to some of my favourite dining spots in Berlin. Check out these pics from my dinner at 1990 Vegan Living with The Lace Oddity! One of my favourite vegan spots on the planet!!!
Up next was a one night stay in Hamburg, and if I'm being completely honest, not the biggest fan of that city. It was pretty and all, but it was lacking the feeling and warmth of culture that I usually feel in Germany.
After Hamburg, things picked up again, with a few days in the amazing Dusseldorf! I had never been there before, and can I just say: LOVE IT! It had little bits of a lot of cities that I already know and love, and I got strong vibes of London, Toronto, and numerous other smaller towns. Just check out these shots, 100% hoping to visit again!

Another highlight of Dusseldorf: I finally got to meet the lovely Mademoiselle Peachy, and she's just as much of a sweetheart as I had always imagined!
After Dusseldorf came Cologne, and well...I'll just let these pictures do the talking for me... ;)

Next up was Frankfurt, which of course had to include a quick trip to Heidelberg. I had never visited before, and I sure am glad that I set aside a half-day of free time for it! This town is STUNNING!!!
While in Frankfurt I finally got to meet and shoot with the amazing CeleneNox! It was such an honour working alongside her! Be sure to check out her YouTube channel for lots of alternative fashion content!
Stuttgart was next, and though I had lots of incredible shoots there, I don't seem to have much backstage content! Guess you'll just have to wait for the official images to go up on my instagram! ;)
The whirlwind month closed off with another full week, this time in Munich. It was by far the busiest week of my whole summer, with one day even having SIX shoots! While there, I got to shoot again with the lovely LuisPhoto.de. We had shot last year in Frankfurt (if you saw my introductory blog post "Hi, I'm Pixie", the title shot is by him), and this time the results are even more exciting! Here's a few sneak peeks for y'all...
Though there are a million other pics that I could include in this blog, I think I'll leave it here for now!
What do you guys think? Excited to see more results from the tour? I know I sure am! It was by far the most exhausting month of my career to date, but it was also super enjoyable! I'm currently soaking in a month off, at home in Italy with my partner, but in October it's back to action, with tours in France, Holland, and Germany again! Ain't no rest for the wicked!!! ;)
