Sometimes it can be hard as hell to put down something you love so much, but just isn't good for you anymore. I found this out the hard way last night:

I was playing XBox's Medal of Honor European Assualt with Bucky, when I had a flashback to the greatest first-person shooting, mulitplayer game of all time - GOLDENEYE.

Bucky and I had to go to this lame-ass Playboy Girls of the PAC 10 signing to get autographed copies for an auction. It's always such a dissappointment when you're meeting with the models and one has a herpes sore plastered in cover-up - it's just not hot.

Anyway, we got back to my house and hooked up GoldenEye, and... It just wasn't the same I know it. I thought I'd never say this, but... it hurts just too much to see my favorite video game again. it's just not like it used to be and I feel like Cougar from Top Gun - I've lost the edge, I'm holdin' on too tight. The graphics, the speed, the controls - it was all so perfect then - just like the first pair of tits you ever saw, but they're just not the same when you see them again, all stretched and veiny, covered in peach fuzz...

I'll never put GoldenEye out of my life for good. NEVER. It will always be a part of who I am, but it needs to remain perfect, as I remember, in the past, where it can remain forever young...
